Makino’s automation solutions, including pallet changers, part-handling robots, and integrated software, streamline high-mix, high-volume production.
Makino machines are widely trusted in the Midwest and Mountain West for both job shops and large production environments, offering not just equipment, but process solutions.
Serving Aerospace, Die & Mold, to Production Machining, Medical, Semiconductor and more.
Makino 5-axis CNC milling machines are built to consistently outperform industry standards. While they maintain a target of 50% of stated specifications, in practice they regularly achieve 25% to 35% of the industry prescribed tolerance.
Vertical 5-Axis
Increase speed and precision with 5-axis vertical machining. The Makino rotary axes’ speed reduces your cycle time, while dynamic accuracies produce a higher quality surface finish.
Tighter Tolerances, Better Parts
Moving to 5-axis machining permits using shorter tooling, optimizes contact between the tool and part providing ideal cutting conditions, improves stiffness and rigidity, provides less run-out, and improves surface finishes. The transition to a Makino 5-axis vertical machine center can increase productivity, reduce cycle times, decrease costs and even eliminate the need for hand-finishing.
