The Show Must Go On – Productivity’s 21st Oktoberfest Tool Show
Plymouth, MN. July 2021 — Productivity is happy to announce that it will be holding its 21st Oktoberfest Tool Show Tuesday through Thursday, September 21-23, 2021. Like all of the Oktoberfest Tool Shows, Productivity prides itself on showcasing the latest in machining and offering live demonstrations of current manufacturing technologies. At this show, you can also expect to see several new product releases, robotic cells in action, tool vending systems, measurement and programming software solutions, dimensional inspection products, and you can even bid online on a used machine live auction.
Productivity’s biennial Oktoberfest Tool show is considered the largest distributor operated trade show event in the Midwest, if not the U.S. “There was definitely some deliberation as to whether it would happen given the state of COVID at the beginning of 2021”, recounted Greg Buck, president of Productivity. “But with the continued success of the vaccines, the CDC lifting restrictions on capacity and masks, and suppliers and customers anxious to display and see what’s new…we decided we could safely enable customers to experience Oktoberfest as expected.” Greg also added that, “Due to the uncertainties surrounding COVID-19, Productivity reluctantly made the decision to cancel their coveted Monday Student Day as part of the Oktoberfest Tool Show which has attracted over 1,000 students in the past. It is planned to invite students back again in 2023.”
At this year’s show, there will be over 40 CNC machine tools including Haas, Makino, Matsuura, Marubeni Citizen, Miyano, Okamoto, BTM, Hwacheon, FOBA, iFP Parts Washer, Muratec, Omax, Scotchman, Mighty Viper, Extrude Hone, ANCA, Belmont and Tsune.
